What is the Athletic Development After School Program?
Tampa Sports Academy partners with local elementary schools to offer our introductory into athletics program for children. The Athletic Development After School Program is a fun way for kids to learn the fundamentals of movement. In this program, they will learn how to jump, run, and move properly. We provide a fun learning environment for the kids to exercise and learn how to work together as a team. Our goal is to provide a fun, safe environment for kids to develop a healthy lifestyle at an early age through athletics.
What can your child expect during their session?
During each session, we will go over a combination of the following types of drills and exercises: Speed, agility, hand-eye coordination, footwork, multi-directional and linear movement, team races, fun competitive games, and team building exercises.
When and Where?
This after-school program is a total of 8 weeks long. We will provide 1 – 90-minute sessions each week. Sessions will be provided after school. Dates and times are dependent upon individual schools.
