High school and youth programs at Tampa Sports Academy offer the best-integrated support for performance training, sports medicine, and nutrition.

High School & Youth Athletes

Our mission is to ensure optimal performance for our athletes medically, mentally and physically. We bring the same methodology and intensity used with professional athletes to support and develop our high school and youth athletes.

High School

Our program focuses on building strength, power, speed, and energy system development. Teaching correct technique and movement patterns early will lead to productivity on the field. You must stimulate young athletes, not annihilate. You must be prepared physically and mentally to gain a competitive edge. We offer personalized next level performance training programs for 7th graders moving up to compete in high school as well as high school athletes moving up to compete collegiately.
We offer both group training or private training options.

Sports Performance Training (SPP) is designed with the same concept as Collegiate Division One Training; created by Athletic Director Robert Marve. This is a small group training program. Generally, 4-8 athletes and 2 coaches. SPP is offered 6 days a week with 3 sessions offered Monday – Friday and 2 sessions offered on Saturday mornings. All sessions are a full 90 minutes.

  • Range of Motion (ROM)
  • Each athlete will receive a customized workout that will evolve as they do.
  • SPP is ideal for boys and girls ages 11 and up.

Private Coaching (1-1) is recommended when an athlete has very specific needs and goals they are working to achieve. Private sessions are customized based on the individual and his or her needs. These sessions vary from 60 min to 120 minutes and range in price from $55 – $140 per session.

Youth

Our Youth Program offers the opportunity for youth to train with Tampa Sports Academy’s talented coaches and focus on the principles of linear movement and multi-directional speed, as well as strength and conditioning. We work to teach the young athletes correct mechanics and proper technique to optimize their performance. The program also provides comprehensive testing to highlight athletes’ strengths and weakness to help our coaches provide each athlete with the training and instruction they need.

We offer both group training or private training options.

The Athletic Development Program (ADP) is our introduction into athletics for boys and girls ages 6 – 11 years old. ADP is a fun way for kids to learn the fundamentals of movement. In this program, they will learn how to jump, run, and move properly. We provide a fun learning environment for the kids to exercise and learn how to work together as a team. Our goal is to provide a fun, safe environment for kids to develop a healthy lifestyle at an early age through athletics.
